According to the development strategy of EXALO Drilling SA on Asian markets, the Board of EXALO Drilling SA decided to purchase two new Top Drive. New devices are destined for the drilling rigs in Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
Consistently implemented sales strategy and clearly defined objectives, resulted in the emergence of new projects in Kazakhstan and Pakistan. To fully exploit the potential of new opportunities for expansion in those markets and to meet customer requirements at the highest level, the Board of EXALO Drilling SA made a crucial decision to purchase two new Top Drive devices. NOV first device with a maximum lifting capacity of 500 tonnes, is intended for projects in Kazakhstan, while the second unit N16225 with a maximum lifting capacity of 750 tonnes, is intended for projects in Pakistan.
The new devices also increase the operational potential of EXALO Asian markets, which plays a very large role in the implementation of the expansion strategy. Rigs equipped with Top Drive system, allow to gain a number of benefits for customers. Here's an example of the advantages of this solution:
- A reduction of 2/3 of the number of connections of the drill string,
- Saving drilling mud,
- Operating costs are reduced by a smaller number of connections and the shorter the time required to perform them,
- Reduce the number of operations associated with the extraction.
