Geothermal well Chochołów GT-1, Poland

Realization of the directional borehole with trajectory "S" and the depth of 4 122 m by using IRI 1200 drilling rig. The main objective of the project is to extract thermal waters with a temperature over 90 degrees Celsius and a pumping capacity of over 250 m3/h. The well will be located several hundred metres from the thermal swimming pool complex Chochołowskie Termy. Currently, the thermal water that supplies the pools comes from a geothermal borehole drilled in 1989-1990 Chochołów PIG-1. Ultimately, the newly drilled Chochołów GT-1 well will be used as a production well, while the one currently in use will be used to inject cooled water into the deposit.

The project is co-financed by the Polish Geothermal Plus programme of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management and by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 from the programme: "Environment, Energy and Climate Change".

Drilling work performed for Chochołowskie Termy sp. z o.o.

Geothermal boreholes Dźwirzyno HASTON GT-1 and Dźwirzyno HASTON GT-2K, Poland

Drilling of two geothermal wells: Dźwirzyno HASTON GT-1 with a depth of 2020 m and Dźwirzyno HASTON GT-2K with a depth of 2395 m. Both wells will be drilled with the IRI Cabot 750 drilling rig. The investor's project, carried out within the framework of the Polish Geothermal Plus Program and co-financed by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, assumes obtaining thermal water with a temperature of about 50°C and using it for heating and hot water for the purposes of the planned hotel facility with thermal pools in Dźwirzyno (Zachodnipomorskie province). Apart from energy use, the thermal water will also be used for balneological and recreational purposes. The designed wells will operate in the so-called "geothermal doublet". One borehole will be a production borehole and the other one will be used to inject cooled water to the deposit.

Drilling work performed for Hasco-Lek S.A.

Geothermal well Koło GT-2, Poland

Koło GT-2 vertical geothermal well with a planned final depth of approximately 3050m. Drilling is carried out using our latest drilling rig Drillmec HH-220, which, thanks to its full automation, low noise emissions and reduced footprint, successfully drills in the middle of urban development.

The Koło GT-2 project aims to take advantage of the geothermal possibilities the city relies on, and is thus a step towards the energy independence of Koło, affecting not only the quality of air in the city, but also reducing the cost of heat charges

Drilling work being carried out for the Municipal Heating Company in Koło.
