In the area of Przemyśl discovered completely new gas deposits. The Przemyśl field has been in operation for 60 years and it is the largest deposit in Poland. Gas obtained from there is the one of the highest quality and from the beginning of exploitation from this deposit have been output more than 64 billion cubic meters of gas.
Thanks to the innovative research methods have discovered that new and very promising gas deposits. Drilling works were executed by EXALO Drilling SA. The exploitation well Przemyśl - 290 is located near Ujkowice, north of Przemyśl. Works on the borehole started on November 29, 2017 and finished on January 20, 2018. Drilling works were carried out using the device MR – 8000. Reached depth was 2030 m. The borehole is the fourth in this region, from which gas inflow in industrial quantities was obtained.
